Increasing academic influence for EJTIR
The electronic academic journal EJTIR (European Journal of Transport and Infrastructure Research), run by TU Delft, is enjoying increasing influence in the academic world. Its impact factor, a key measure of the importance of academic journals, has increased again, as in recent years, this time to 1.224 (from 0.674).
This is of particular note since EJTIR is the only open access journal in the field of Transport and Infrastructure with an impact factor. EJTIR is run without the intervention of publishers.
Caspar Chorus is the journal’s editor-in-chief. Other editors from TU Delft are Bert van Wee, Vincent Marchau, Lori Tavasszy and Serge Hoogendoorn.
