In this seminar, we will discuss the role of games to develop and test new measures towards synchromodal transportation.

After a brief lecture on the role of games in the transportation field, participants will have the unique opportunity to play the Alloy game; a hybrid game with physical and digital material that focuses on new measures and business models in sycnhromodal transportation. After game play we will reflect on and discuss the challenges and possible measures towards the realization of synchromodal transportation. Together, we will collect valuable data to develop informed models on synchromodal transportation; valuable tools that can help taking advantage of this innovative way of shipping.
