Job crafting: How to become more engaged in your work

In this session, you will learn several techniques to make your work as a PhD-student more enjoyable. At the end of this session, you have learned how to optimize your job using job crafting techniques, set clear goals, and become more engaged in your work. To achieve this, we will reflect upon your work, learn how to strengthen those aspects of your job that you love, and adapt those aspects that cost you energy.

We will discuss theory to give you a better understanding of your work environment and how it can help and hinder your work engagement. In the last part of the session, we will specifically focus on your job and the job crafting goals that you want to set for yourself.
